Mun (munapp.dev) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We are a pre-incorporation partnership operating in the United Kingdom.

We collect personal data only when you actively submit it to us through one of the forms on this website.

From the business contact form we collect: your name, company name, email address, business sector, and a description of your project or enquiry. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and assess whether Mun's services may be suitable for your business.

From the developer application form we collect: your name, email address, GitHub or portfolio URL, primary specialism, and a brief background description. We use this information to assess your application to join the Mun developer network and to contact you with next steps.

We do not collect any data through cookies, analytics tools, or tracking technologies. We do not collect any special category data (such as health, financial, or biometric data) through this website.

3. Our lawful basis for processing

We process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interests. When you submit a contact form or developer application, you are actively requesting that we respond to you. Processing your data to do so is necessary for that purpose and is what you would reasonably expect us to do.

We do not rely on consent as our lawful basis for processing contact form or application data, meaning you do not need to opt in - but you retain all rights described in section 6 below, including the right to request deletion of your data at any time.

4. How we use your data

We use the data you submit to:

- Respond to your enquiry or application - Assess whether our services or developer network are a suitable fit - Follow up with you if we have not received a response to our initial reply

We will not add you to any mailing list, newsletter, or marketing communications without your explicit consent. We will not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data processors we use

We use the following third party services that process personal data on our behalf:

Formspree (formspree.io) - our contact and application forms are processed by Formspree, which transmits form submissions to us and stores them on our behalf.

Vercel (vercel.com) - our website is hosted on Vercel's infrastructure. Vercel processes connection data (such as IP addresses) as part of serving the website. You can review Vercel's privacy policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

These processors act only on our instructions and may not use your personal data for their own purposes.

6. How long we keep your data

We retain personal data submitted through this website for a maximum of 6 months from the date of submission, unless:

- You request deletion earlier, in which case we will delete it within 30 days of your request - A longer retention period is required by law

After 6 months, data is deleted from our records and we will request deletion from Formspree on your behalf.

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

Formspree and Vercel are US-based companies. Where your data is transferred outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place. Both Formspree and Vercel operate under standard contractual clauses and UK data transfer mechanisms in accordance with UK GDPR requirements.

9. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies, analytics tools, or any tracking technologies. No data is collected about your browsing behaviour on this website. You will not see a cookie consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

If this changes, for example if we introduce analytics, this policy will be updated and a cookie notice will be displayed before any such tools are activated.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, particularly when the Mun platform launches and additional data processing activities begin. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We recommend checking this page periodically.

This policy will be significantly updated when the platform launches to cover data processing activities relating to client projects, developer engagements, and payment processing.
